NEWSFLASH!!!
last night i had the undying pleasure of being the featured artist of the month for Geeks Versus Nerds. i was selling the comic (now with completed volume 2) and doing custom sketches for people in their issues. i asked my bestfriend/partnerdude to do a comic for me and i included that as well. (you can see more of his work here.)
i had a lot of fun and got to hear from people how much they loved the comic. someone even told me that they were actually touched by it, which was amazing to hear and meant a lot to me.
when i started this it was just a doodle in the back of a notebook i was using for class. then it turned into a project for school. then it turned into a blog. now it’s a real hard copy comic that (if you want) you can get in Strange Adventures here in Halifax. which is totally fucking awesome.
since i have all of volume 2 completed i’ll be setting up the queue again and posting strips every couple days or so. i’ll be starting the bulk of the work for volume 3 very soon and working on getting that together.
i want to say thank you to everyone who bought a comic from me last night, (or ever really) and those of you who keep checking back to this blog. school got HELLA insane last semester but the payoff was worth it. i expect this semester will be much the same.
keep your eyes peeled folks, 2013 is gonna be a MASSIVE year for me.
